I am looking forward to...

I cannot wait until I go to college! I am excited to continue learning. I am excited to meet new people, and live in a new place. It will be a huge change in a lot of ways, and that will be hard; I have never really liked change, but I think college will be different.

I have spent the last twelve years of my life preparing for college, I can't wait until I finally reach it.

A few of my favorite things...

The best five things in my world are the things that have shaped me as a person. These things help me through hard times and they bring me happiness.

  1. My Family. Of all the things in the world, my family can make me the happiest.
  2. Music. Music has the power to change me from the inside out. The mood portrayed in a certain selection, will become my own mood.
  3. Learning. There seems to be no end to the human mind, and I have always loved to explore it. I love to have heard a lesson a million times, and then have the concepts "click" in my mind. I love to understand.
  4. Friends. My friends definitely change my life for good. I can always be happy around them
  5. Running. This is something I do when I need to be better. This is a great way to release energy. Running makes me feel healthy and strong.

My revised future...

I grew up in a home where music is really important. We would listen to and watch "Music and the Spoken Word" by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and sometimes, the Orchestra on Temple Square.
I cannot remember an exact day, but I can remember the feelings their music would give me; I would never want the songs to end. Sometimes they made me want to jump up and save the world with my own two hands!!
It was in these early years that I decided I want to give others that same feeling of invincibility. I started playing the violin young, but switched to playing the cello for our school orchestra due to the lack of cellists and surfeit of violinists. I have been playing ever since then. I want to play in college, so I am practicing hard for a scholarship. My goal is to play my cello with the Orchestra on Temple Square.
